Southern Frontenac Community Services supports seniors and families in need in South Frontenac and rural Kingston. A portion of our funding comes from Provincial and Municipal partners, but we rely on donations to keep up with the demands and needs in our community.
Your donations allow us to serve more Hot Meals on Wheels to rural seniors, provide food to families in need through the Food Bank, subsidize low-income seniors and their caregivers to provide care in our Adult Day Program...and much more. Ask how your gift can help.
Thank you for supporting our programs and services as together we enable seniors to remain living at home longer and enhancing the quality of life in South Frontenac.
PLEASE NOTE: Donations to the McMullen Manor fire victims cannot be made online. You can make a donation to the fire victims fund through SFCSC by cash, cheque, credit card or e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that we are unable to issue donation receipts for this fund as the donations are part of a general ‘pool’ of funds that may be used in ways that are outside of our programs and services. We are working with Kingston & Frontenac Housing Corporation, the Verona Community Association and the Verona Free Methodist Church to help coordinate emergency support. SFCSC is the central location for all funds raised and will oversee the banking requirements of the fund. Note: 100% of the money raised goes directly to the fire victims.
Thank you everyone for your help.
Donations of any amount by cash, cheque or credit card are accepted in our office, by contacting any of our board members, or online through CanadaHelps.org. Most donations are eligible for charitable donation receipts suitable for Income Tax.
More and more donors are opting to pledge a monthly donation, which can automatically be credited to your credit card through our account with CanadaHelps.org. The dollar amount each month is manageable, and it adds up to a wonderful annual gift. Check CanadaHelps.org or contact Laura Fitzgerald to learn more.

This is a growing trend in Canada: you raise funds in a way that makes sense to you. Consider asking for donations to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, host a bake sale, or do your own "athon"...a run-athon, paddle-athon, sing-athon...the ideas are limitless. We can support you! We can create an online donation page just for your event! And help with posters and promotion. Depending on the event, we may even be able to offer some volunteers or staff to help. Contact Laura Fitzgerald to share your idea!
