Grace Centre

 

The Grace Centre is a community hub offering older adults (aged 55+) in South Frontenac a range of programs to support an active lifestyle. 

IMPORTANT: To operate safely and adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, you MUST REGISTER for all classes and programs, both in-person and online activities. Some in-person classes are full but we have wait lists that your name can be added to. Contact us at 613-376-6477 x310 for more information.

About Grace Centre

The Grace Centre is a place where older adults in South Frontenac and rural Kingston (north of Hwy. 401) can participate in a range
of social, cultural and fitness activities. It's a place to meet old friends and make new ones. The Grace Centre offers many regular programs that run weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, as well as other special events and activities.

Our programs are offered in-person, online and off-site throughout South Frontenac. 

Our social and recreational programs are supported by the Province of Ontario and the Township of South Frontenac.

There is plenty of free parking, including accessible spots, and the building is accessible.

Crafty Crew
Make new friends and get creative together. Work on projects decided by the group. Maybe you can showcase your crafty skill or talent.

Good Graces Cafe

Fresh brewed coffee and tea, delicious treats, and great company! Did we mention the free refills on tea and coffee? The cafe is completely volunteer run, and all proceeds go to benefit our various programs.

Social Games Club
Drop-in for a fun morning of Euchre, Cribbage, Bridge and more! Not a fan of card games? Grab a treat from Good Grace's Cafe and enjoy a chat with a new friend. There is no cost to attend, and transportation is free   for those who require it. Just call us at 613-376-6477!

This class involves gentle to medium level exercise that is easily adaptable for all levels of movement
and coordination.

Tai Chi 

Take part online or at the Grace Centre to take part in an hour-long Tai Chi class that is focused on building flexibility, mobility, and balance!

Grace Activity Pass

 

An annual Grace Activity Pass is available for adults aged 55+ and gives free access to most social and recreational programs, except those that have an additional cost or admission charges, such as bus tours. Membership is $25 and is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Download the membership form below, or contact us to find out more.

Volunteering

Please talk to us if you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Southern Frontenac Community Services and help out with various social and recreational activities and events. We'd love to hear from you! 613-376-6477 x209

Free transportation is available to most Grace Centre activities. Call us a few days in advance to arrange.
