Our Home Helpers can provide weekly or bi-weekly assistance with routine housekeeping, and other physically challenging activities required to maintain your home. This can include:

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

  • Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens

  • Washing interior windows

  • Dusting and polishing

  • Laundry

  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation

  • and much much more!

Home Helpers are thoroughly screened and interviewed by Staff before being matched with clients.

In-home services are available with support from the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area

Caring for a family member or friends can be stressful and overwhelming. As trained PSW's, our Respite Providers can care for your loved one while you take a break, run errands, or go to work. Services include:

  • Supervision: Your loved one may not require any personal care or medical assistance, however you may feel better knowing someone is there to keep an eye on them while you are away. Providers and clients can chat, read the paper, play games, or watch movies to pass the time.

  • Personal Care: Assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, and eating. Medication reminders. Assistance getting in and out of bed and chairs.

  • Light housekeeping

  • Meal and snack preparation

Respite services can be scheduled weekly, or on an "as-needed" basis. Overnight requests can be accommodated, but depend on provider availability.
