Adult Day Service
A support service that provides supervised individual programming in a group setting for adults who require close monitoring or assistance with personal activities (e.g. hygiene, dressing). The service also benefits the frail elderly as well as people living with Alzheimer Disease, progressive cognitive disorders or dementias of aging.
The service assists clients in achieving and maintaining their maximum level of functioning, to prevent premature and inappropriate institutionalization and provides respite and support for caregivers. Service components include transportation (if required), social, recreational and physical activities, meals, personal care and minor health care (for example, monitoring of medication).
Assist in maintaining or improving cognitive, social, physical, and emotional well being.
Reduce the risk of social isolation
Enable individuals to remain in their own home
Assurance that client is in a safe environment
Snacks are served morning and afternoon
A Hot meal provided for lunch
Social, Physical, and Recreational Activities
Monday to Friday – 9:00am – 3:30pm, Saturday 9:00am - 2:00 p.m.
All referrals are received from the SE LHIN Home and Community Care or our Community Support Service Care Planners.
$20 per day and includes meal. Transportation may be available upon request (additional cost).
