Adult Day Service

Personal Support Workers and Recreation staff deliver a full-day program in a group setting for adults who require monitoring and/or assistance. This program benefits persons living with Alzheimer’s, dementias, Parkinson’s, acquired brain injuries, and/or strokes. Clients are provided a hot lunch, snacks and materials for recreational activities. Transportation can be arranged for an additional fee.


The service assists clients in achieving and maintaining their maximum level of functioning, to prevent premature and inappropriate institutionalization and provides respite and support for caregivers. Service components include transportation (if required), social, recreational and physical activities, meals, personal care and minor health care (for example, monitoring of medication).

For Participants

  • Assist in maintaining or improving cognitive, social, physical, and emotional well being.

  • Reduce the risk of social isolation

  • Enable individuals to remain in their own home


For Caregivers

  • Provide respite

  • Assurance that client is in a safe environment



  • Snacks are served morning and afternoon

  • A Hot meal provided for lunch

  • Personal care

  • Social, Physical, and Recreational Activities



Monday to Friday – 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.



All referrals are received from the SE LHIN Home and Community Care or our Community Support Service Care Planners.


Program Costs

$20 per day and includes meal. Transportation may be available upon request (additional cost).
