Vehicle Donation Program

 

Vehicle Donation is easy and convenient for you and will help members of your community by supporting a local charity.

 

Would you like to donate an old vehicle or tractor to a local charity, in your community? The vehicle does not have to be in running condition, as the vehicle will be recycled and the funds generated will support the programs that Southern Frontenac Community Services provides to the community. We'll take care of the towing and will send you a charitable receipt for the value. It's free and easy.

 

Here's how it works:

• Just call us at 613-376-6477 ext. 211 or fill out the secure "Online Car Donation Form."

• If you elect to do it online, you will be contacted by phone and arrangements will be made to pick-up your vehicle (at no expense to you).

• Your donated vehicle will be taken to a local auto wrecker to be recycled.

• You will receive a tax deductible receipt for the net value of the donated car.

• The proceeds from the donation will help Southern Frontenac Community Services provide services for seniors and vulnerable families in our community. 

 

Notes:

• You will need to provide the ownership documents to the tow truck driver

• The car does not have to be in running condition, but must be accessible to be picked up by the tow truck
